The first step in accomplishing the goals of this next area of digital literacy inquiry is finding a focal topic for your research and media production.  As we discussed in class, you’ll want to think carefully about a social or political issue that is personally significant to you and one you feel exigence to speak about publicly or learn more about.  For this minor writing assignment, you’ll describe the focal topic (or two possible focal topics) you are considering. What organization, cause, or political campaign do you want to research?  What specific audience do you ultimately want to persuade?  Why is this important to you?  Write 250-500 words and post this invention as your third official Commonplace Blog post.  We will discuss your post on our conference meeting!
